Studied physics at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg with a focus on computer engineering, particle detectors and astronomy, diploma in 2008. Diploma thesis at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik. Topic: "Ion counting and imaging methods for experiments with stored and trapped ions".
Studied engineering management at the Hochschule Mannheim with a focus on project management, construction and product development as well as quality management, Bachelor of Science 2014. Bachelor thesis at the Institut für Biologische Verfahrenstechnik. Topic: "Bioverfahrenstechnische Optimierung und Erstellung von Gefährdungsbeurteilungen im Kontext der Biostoffverordnung", awarded with the Carl-Isambert-Preis 2014.
Extracurricular participation as research associate at the Labor für Biomechanik, Universitätsmedizin Mannheim. Responsible for optimization and development of a tribological testing bench as well as for quality assurance of manufactured parts.
