Studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg with a focus on product development and mechanical engineering design, obtained a Diploma in 2012.

Internships at Airbus and in the R&D departments of KUKA (robotics) and Borco-Höhns (automotive). Research associate for engineering design at the Institute of Laser and System Technologies, the Institute of Biomechanics and the Institute for Nanoelectronics. Participation in filing patent applications as a co-inventor. Diploma thesis at the Institute for Product Development and Mechanical Engineering Design in research collaboration with Dräger (medicinal products).

After graduation, internship at an intellectual property law firm. Subsequently employed by TÜV Rheinland Consulting GmbH in the competence center Patents & Standards with consulting focus on patent management, patent and trademark searches and patent-based analysis.

Passed the German patent bar examination in 2018.

Joined Prinz & Partner in 2015. Freelancer as from 2018.

Professional Activity

Preparation of patent and utility model applications in German and English.

Examination proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office. Supervision of foreign patent grant proceedings.

Carrying out prior art searches in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering and medicinal products.

Preparation of new patent applications in close cooperation with inventors, patentability studies and support in consultations for start-up companies in patent matters.
